You are missing key opportunities by not reaching out to others and asking for what you want. If you struggle with rejection and the word “No” you're normal! It can feel like a defeating word because it tends to influence so much of our behavior due to our loss of self-worth when we hear it. In this module you will learn how to negotiate and shift your mindset when it comes to encountering push-back and embrace what appears to be rejection for what it really means.

Turbo-charge your career and learn a powerful process to raise your confidence level by turning the word “No” into “Not Right Now” embracing any fear of rejection. The reality is that you’re actually rejecting yourself in advance, before anyone else even has a chance to. You will be comfortably confident asking and negotiating being unattached to the outcome.

When I first recognized the power of asking and then receiving, it became much like a game. Rationally I knew that not everyone will give a YES, but I also knew that eventually someone would. This is after all, a numbers game. When I look back at the things I've asked for, I either received something better or I didn't receive it at all but later on realized that was a necessary part of my journey. You may not see it at the time, but later you may feel grateful you made another choice because you didn't get what you initially wanted. I've asked for a new partner and a loving relationship and Vince my high-school best friend walked into my life just like that.

On the other hand, years earlier I asked to be able to exit my marriage and overnight that direction came quickly. I once asked to lead an event in another country and a random stranger contacted me asking to host me in their local city of London.  I've asked to find a way to exit my lucrative corporate career and soon left without any stress or pain. I've picked up the phone and spoken into the receiver as if the target of my ASK were on the other line. I've asked for promotions. I've asked for referrals. I've asked for healthy children. I'm still asking today. If you are taking this course, then I've asked you to place your trust in me to show you another way to create a life you love. Never stop asking. If you feel uncomfortable about asking, then recognize that discomfort for what it is and ask anyway. If they turn you down, you haven't gained but you also haven't lost anything either.  So, it's a wash. Some will. Some won't. So what? Give yourself permission to ask with a curious attitude. Will they or won't they? It doesn't really matter. Energetically you've set yourself up to become stronger the next time you put yourself out there and ask. If we don't A-S-K, we don't G-E-T.

In truth and to close here, had I not asked for the possibility of doing something other then technology management all those years ago when I was sitting in an executive space, I wouldn't be sitting here with you today. Nothing is outside of your vision.
