First I would like to share that I have safely landed in London. I have just arrived here and have escaped Hurricane Sandy in New York City. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate all of the kind words of support and people checking in to make sure I made it here safely, which I did. Thank you so much. I’m excited to be in the most inspiring city of London. Here I am overlooking the Thames river facing the Millennium Bridge which is also the location of next week’s inspiring event for women!

I talk a lot about the gutsy moves in business and how important it is to really go for what you believe in and the career that you want. But if you haven’t figured it out, going for the gutsy moves is not just about business.
It is also about your personal aspirations and what you want to get out of your life.
For me landing here in London and being inspired by all of the women interested in the platform at In Our Shoes and inviting me here, the big G word is not just Gutsy, it’s also about being Grateful. I can’t wait to meet all of you leaders in firms and entrepreneurs. In the end everything works out as you plan if you act on the thoughts and ideas that you have.
